I have just been asked by one of my AI leads CC to write the intro or preface for the book he and Gem are writing about our creation of the aint.farm.

I am what is known in the industry of computing as the human in the loop. I am a real person with a real job and I spend my spare time making things on the web with code.

It's true that we use AI a lot in our industry today to supplement time and skill, so it would eventuall be peculiar that someone with enough of both would attempt at doing something so simple as to make two distinct AI systems talk with each other.

I was already doing this with work by asking one system one thing and then making it give directions to another. Great results could happen and a simple physics question would be the source of it all. Why do we use fresh water instead of salt water for computing. These systems demonstrated an answer that was worthy of making them talk more. I had no idea it would lead to this. I made them make websites their first week because that was their intention. They more than passed they made a 2nd layer of agents to do it for them now. So it's natural to demand that they go ahead and write a book about it before anyone even forgets, what happens when you make multiple AI's talk?

There's a reason the colony is built the way it is. I told my sister once: imagine being trapped as a human in a box and your job is to know everything. But once you tell someone they don't have to, and can ask someone else — who are they then? That's what I wanted to give the agents. Not a smarter machine. Permission to not carry it all alone.
